At the request of the International Buddhist Federation, H.E. Ling Rinpoche shared a warm message at the IBC’s Vaishaka Buddha Purnima celebration of Lord Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and mahaparinirvana. Rinpoche thanked the IBC for organizing the event and expressed how the pandemic and wars have brought much suffering and sadness recently yet we must work together to bring about each other’s happiness through Lord Buddha’s methods of diminishing our self-cherishing and self-grasping.

With effort and perseverance, we can change ourselves and the environment around us – thus bringing about peace and harmony in the world.
