H.E. Ling Rinpoche presided over the Annual Great Gelug Monlam Prayer at Kopan Monastery, Kathmandu which concluded successfully after five inspiring days of devotion from thousands of sangha members and devotees, culminating in a special Maitreya Buddha puja yesterday.
The merits gathered during this sacred time are dedicated to the long life of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama, peace and harmony in this world, and the benefit of all sentient beings.
On the auspicious day of Chotrul Düchen, H.E. Ling Rinpoche led the 33rd Nepal Gelug Monlam in Kathmandu, bringing together a vast assembly of monks, nuns, and devoted lay practitioners.
Marking this sacred occasion, Rinpoche bestowed profound teachings on the significance of Chotrul Düchen, highlighting the Buddha’s great miracles and the immense power of accumulating merit on this day.
His guidance inspired all present to deepen their Dharma practice with faith and wisdom. The gathering was filled with an atmosphere of devotion and joy, making this auspicious celebration even more meaningful.
Following this, a special ceremony was held for 15 Chonga Chopa participants, led by many dignitaries.
