Vesak Message from H.E. Ling Rinpoche:

On the auspicious occasion of Vesak, we commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of lord Gautama Buddha.

May this sacred day remind us to cultivate compassion, wisdom, and a kind heart in our daily lives. By practicing patience, non-violence, and loving-kindness, we bring benefit not only to ourselves but to all sentient beings.

Let us take this opportunity to reflect on the Buddha’s teachings and strive to create peace within ourselves and harmony in the world.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche enjoyed a special meeting with Venerable Thubten Chodron at Dharma Mati-Rigpa in Berlin today.

Venerable Thubten Chodron is a senior Buddhist nun who originally received her ordination from the previous Ling Rinpoche – His Holiness the 6th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche, who was the Principal Teacher of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

H.E. Kyabjé Yongzin Ling Rinpoche bestowed two days of teachings from April25th in Munich, Germany. The teachings were organized by members of the AryaTara Institut-FPMT and attended by local residents, Tibetan community members, and devoted followers from various countries.

Rinpoche gave teachings on the Seven-Point Mind Training (Lojong), and also compassionately conferred the Refuge vows and Lay vows. In addition, he granted the initiation (jenang) of the Four-Armed Chenrezig.

While meeting with the local Tibetan community, Rinpoche offered important advice on the need for unity among different communities and emphasized the importance of preserving one’s own language and cultural heritage without decline.
