H.E. Ling Rinpoche spoke as Chief Guest and celebrated the shared values across faiths, inspired by the teachings of the Buddha, Shri Guru Nanak, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, at the First Global Interfaith Summit, held at the Golden Temple and Bulandpuri Sahib on the auspicious occasion of the 555th Birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Joined by religious leaders from diverse faiths and thousands of participants from across the globe, Rinpoche highlighted universal human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, and self-discipline—qualities championed by these spiritual figures—as essential to bridging divisions and fostering peace amid global crises.
Rinpoche called for interfaith unity, dialogue, and non-violence, urging spiritual leaders to lead with compassion and respect for all life, including the environment.
Organized by Akal Takht, the supreme head office of Sikhism, this gathering embodied a commitment to inspiring lasting harmony for future generations.
