H.E. Yongzin Ling Rinpoche received the Drepung Loseling Monastery Heads—Abbot, Deputy Abbot, Disciplinarian, Chanting Master, and Administrators—for an audience at Rinpoche’s residence in Drepung Monastery, South India.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited Drepung Loseling Monastic School as the Chief Guest at the official graduation ceremony for the 10th class students of 2024, on this auspicious day.
During this visit, Rinpoche provided teachings and guidance, emphasizing the importance of deepening one’s understanding through reading and recognizing the value of texts. Additionally, Rinpoche highlighted the importance of successfully completing their education and eventually residing within the monastery as disciplined and respectful members. Furthermore, Rinpoche underscored the need for a proper environment conducive to learning and self-improvement, ensuring that students cultivate good habits and apply them in their daily lives.
Rinpoche also inaugurated the annual magazine, Gangsol Rolyang, blessed the teachers, and shared profound guidance on the true purpose of education.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited Kyabjé Tokden Rinpoche and received a warm reception with a traditional rice tea ceremony. This was followed by a Body, Speech, and Mind Mandala offering by Kyabjé Tokden Rinpoche, along with a request to live long and continue turning the wheel of Dharma.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche also expressed his appreciation for Kyabjé Tokden Rinpoche’s Dharma activities and requested him to live long for the benefit of all sentient beings.
