H.E. Ling Rinpoche bestowed the White Tara Long Life Initiation at the Lakhanwala Tibetan Settlement in Uttarakhand.
Thousands of devotees from nearby Tibetan settlements gathered to receive the precious empowerment.
Following the initiation, Rinpoche offered invaluable advice on preserving Tibetan culture and maintaining unity and harmony among the diaspora community.

H.E. Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche was graciously invited as the Chief Guest to preside over the Golden Jubilee celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Yougyalling (Lakhanwala) Tibetan Settlement.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were the Home Secretary of the Central Tibetan Administration, Mr. Palden Dhondup; two former Kalons (Ministers) residing in the region; Mr. Mona Singh Chauhan, Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly; officers of the Special Frontier Force; Mr. Anuruddha and Mr. Paramchand Dhadden of the Indo-Tibet Friendship Association, Vikasnagar; the Khen Rinpoche of Gongkar Choede Monastery together with members of the Sangha; and the Settlement Officers of the seven Tibetan settlements in the Dehradun region, as well as representatives from nearby Himachal Pradesh.
His Eminence delivered an inspiring address to the gathering. The ceremony was conducted with great devotion and grandeur.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche arrived at Uttarkhan SFF Lakhanwala Tibetan Settlement, where he was warmly welcomed by the heads of the settlement, local leaders, monks, and residents. They offered traditional khatas and heartfelt greetings.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the Paonta Cholsum Tibetan Settlement, where he delivered a public talk to the community and presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Buddha Park.
The visit was marked by a warm reception from the head of settlement and others.

Message from H.E. Ling Rinpoche:
On the eve of Losar, we received the profoundly sorrowful news that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s younger brother, Ngari Rinpoche (Tenzin Chögyal), has peacefully entered parinirvana.
At this time of deep grief, I wish to offer my personal condolences and heartfelt prayers to Rinpoche’s family, his close associates, and to all Tibetan and Himalayan people whose lives were touched by his presence. His passing is an immeasurable loss to the Tibetan people and to the wider spiritual community.
Ngari Rinpoche was unwaveringly devoted to His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a beloved brother and close friend, and he dedicated his life wholeheartedly to serving His Holiness.
On a personal level, Ngari Rinpoche and I were very close and he held a special place in my heart. I feel this loss deeply and I join everyone in mourning with profound sadness. I pray for his perfect reincarnation to swiftly return and continue his noble activities. May his enlightened legacy endure and flourish for the welfare and happiness of all sentient beings.

May this Tibetan and Lunar New Year be a source of blessings so that obstacles will be gently cleared from your path, favorable conditions naturally arise and may peace and harmony take root in your lives and throughout the world.
May all virtuous actions prosper, may pure intentions swiftly bear beneficial results and may the sacred Dharma continue to radiate its light of the benefit of all beings.
Above all, may His Holiness the Dalai Lama enjoy a long, healthy life and may his enlightened presence continue to guide the world with wisdom and compassion.
