H.E. Kyabjé Ling Rinpoche visited two of Bumthang’s most sacred temples — Jampa Lhakhang and Kurjey Lhakhang.
Jampa Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, is dedicated to Jampa (Maitreya) Buddha and is believed to be among the 108 temples built by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet in the 7th century to subdue obstructing forces in the region.
Kurjey Lhakhang, meaning “the Body Imprint,” is where Guru Padmasambhava meditated in the 8th century, leaving His sacred body imprint in the rock cave. It is regarded as one of the most blessed spiritual sites in Bhutan, closely connected with the flourishing of Buddhism in the kingdom.
At both sacred sites, His Eminence offered Tsog, praying for the longevity of the Dharma, the well-being of all sentient beings, and the flourishing of peace and harmony.
Monks, devotees, and local residents offered a warm and heartfelt welcome to His Eminence throughout the visit, reflecting deep reverence and devotion.

H.E. Kyabjé Ling Rinpoche arrived in Bhutan and received a grand and warm welcome at Paro International Airport from Ms. Ugen Chozom, Chief Protocol Officer of the Royal Government of Bhutan, along with senior government officials, Kalu Rinpoche, and Thupten Rinpoche.
A grand reception was also offered by members of the Tibetan community and local residents of Paro.
Upon arrival in Thimphu, Rinpoche was warmly welcomed at the hotel by the Abbot of Gaden Jangtse Monastery, many dignitaries, and members of the general public.
Rinpoche is visiting Bhutan as a guest of the Royal Government of Bhutan to participate in the Global Peace Prayer and the 70th Birthday Celebrations of His Majesty the Fourth King of Bhutan.

༣༽ ཤྲིར་ལངྐའི་ནང་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་གླིང་ལེགས་སྦྱར་དང་པ་ལིའི་རིགས་གཞུང་སྤེལ་རེས་ལྟེ་གནས་ཁང་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་རིང་བསྲེལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་གདན་ཞུ་དང་མཆོད་འབུལ་མཛད་སྒོའི་ཚོགས་མགོན་དུ་བཀའ་དྲིན་བསྐྱངས་པ་དང་དེ་བཞིན་༸གོང་ས་༸མཆོག་གི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཀྱི་ཉམས་ལེན་ཁང་ཞེས་པ་གསར་བསྐྲུན་གྱི་ས་གཞི་བྱིན་རླབས་དང་ས་རྡོ་རྨང་འཇོག་གནང་། དེ་བཞིན་༸གོང་ས་༸མཆོག་སྐུ་ཚེ་ཞབས་པད་སྲིད་མཐར་བརྟན་པའི་སླད་ཕྱུགས་རིགས་ཚེ་ཐར་དང་། སློབ་ཕྲུག་གི་འཁོ་ཆས་སྦྱིན་གཏོང་གནང་བ་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་པར།།
H.E. Kyabjé Ling Rinpoche was honored with the rare and distinguished honorary title of Lokārthācārya Dharma Vibhūṣaṇa, meaning ‘Adornment of the Dharma, Teacher of Global Welfare’ by The Sri Sambuddha Sasanodaya Sangha Sabhawa, a chapter of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya—one of Sri Lanka’s principal Buddhist monastic orders.
This prestigious honor is bestowed in recognition of Rinpoche’s exceptional contributions to the welfare of humanity and the promotion of the Buddha’s teachings.
The title has been awarded only twice before—to the most senior monks of Thailand and Myanmar—and now, for the first time, to a Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhist leader, acknowledging Rinpoche’s far-reaching and compassionate efforts in spreading the Buddha Dharma throughout the world.
