On May 18th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche bestowed the Buddha Amitayus initiation (Tsewang) and gave advice to thousands of Tibetan people in Minnesota, with a Tsog Offering and prayers on the occasion of Saka Dawa. In the morning, Rinpoche visited the Tibetan Saturday Culture School where he met with and gave a talk to the students and teachers. On 15th May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk for the Tibetan community's Wisconsin Tibetan Association in Oregon, Wisconsin and blessed their community hall, where the children and community members offered a cultural performance for Rinpoche.

On May 14th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk and advice with a Buddha Amitayus Long Life initiation (Tsewang) for the Tibetan community's Tibetan Alliance of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois and enjoyed a cultural performance by the Tibetan students and children.

On 11-12th May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on The Three Principal Aspects of the Path and conferred the Buddha Amitayus Long Life Initiation at Deer Park Buddhist Center & Monastery in Madison, Wisconsin.

On 8th May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a teaching on The Foundation of All Good Qualities and bestowed the Medicine Buddha Initiation at Kadampa Center - FPMT in Raleigh, North Carolina.

On 4 - 5th May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on Jowo Atisha's Bodhisattva's Jewel Garland and bestowed the White Tara Long Life Initiation and its commentary in Fairfax, Virginia, hosted by the Mahayana Sutra and Tantra Center of Washington D.C., Guhyasamaja Center - FPMT and Partners for Tibetan Education.

On 4th May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited and blessed the Capital Area Tibetan Association's Community Center in the Washington D.C. area and gave a talk with advice to the community members.

On 1st May, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C. where he gave a talk and Q&A session on current issues in Tibet, and met with many important government and non-government representatives including Michael Shiffler - Assistant Administrator USAID, Alison Bartel - Special Advisor to US Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues, Tina Mufford - Acting Deputy, US Commission on International Religious Freedom, other Congressional Members, the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the President of ICT, organized by the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C.

On April 30th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche was warmly welcomed at the airport in Washington DC by the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and local hosts and organizers.

Then on May 1st, Rinpoche visited the Office of Tibet where he blessed the premises and met with the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama Namgyal Choedup and staff members.

࿑ གཞིས་བྱེས་གཉིས་སུ་བཞུགས་པའི་བོད་རིགས་སྤུན་ཟླ་གཙོ་བོར་གྱུར་པའི་ཧི་མ་ལ་ཡའི་རི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་མི་མང་ཡོངས་ལ་འཚམས་འདྲི་དང་བོད་ཀྱི་ཡིག་གཟུགས་ཉིན་མོ་བསྲུང་བརྩི་ཞུ། །

On 30th April, H.E. Ling Rinpoche sends warmest greetings in the celebration of Tibetan Calligraphy Day, to all Tibetans within and outside Tibet and across the Himalayan region.
