H.E. Ling Rinpoche’s Message in Memory of Lobga Rangzen
With deep sorrow, we mourn the passing of Lobga Rangzen, a faithful and devoted member of our Tibetan community who died after setting himself on fire outside the United Nations Headquarters in New York on July 2, 2026. Before the tragic incident, he reportedly released a message calling for Tibetan freedom, unity and human rights.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to Lobga Rangzen’s family, friends, and all those who are grieving his loss. I am praying for his precious human rebirth. May he encounter the holy Dharma in all his future lives and swiftly progress on the path to enlightenment.
