On October 21st, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited and received a blessed audience with His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet at His Holiness’ residence in Dharamsala.

On October 17th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche participated in the International Abhidhamma Divas Day alongside Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who offered Chivar Dana to Rinpoche and other senior monks from various Buddhist traditions. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the International Buddhist Confederation at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the recognition of Pali as an Indian classical language. This important step honors the rich heritage of Buddhist teachings and the profound legacy of the Pali language in Indian history.

On September 27-29th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave teachings on the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva and the 8 Verses of Training the Mind, and presided over a Tsog puja and offering bath and Consecration (Trulso and Rabnay) of the new temple at Dzogchen Beara Buddhist Meditation Centre-Rigpa in Ireland.

On September 22nd, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the local Tibetan school children in London and enjoyed spending time giving them valuable advice and encouragement. Rinpoche took great interest in their curriculum and how the children are progressing in their studies and in the local Sunday Tibetan School program run by the Office of Tibet-London.

On September 21st, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a teaching on Arya Nagarjuna’s In Praise of Gratifying Sentient Beings and conferred the Amitayus Long Life Initiation (Tsewang), at Friends’ House in London, jointly organized by Jamyang Buddhist Centre London-FPMT, Tibet House Trust, Rigpa-London and the Tibetan Community of Britain.
