༣༽ ཤྲིར་ལངྐའི་ནང་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་གླིང་ལེགས་སྦྱར་དང་པ་ལིའི་རིགས་གཞུང་སྤེལ་རེས་ལྟེ་གནས་ཁང་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་རིང་བསྲེལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་གདན་ཞུ་དང་མཆོད་འབུལ་མཛད་སྒོའི་ཚོགས་མགོན་དུ་བཀའ་དྲིན་བསྐྱངས་པ་དང་དེ་བཞིན་༸གོང་ས་༸མཆོག་གི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཀྱི་ཉམས་ལེན་ཁང་ཞེས་པ་གསར་བསྐྲུན་གྱི་ས་གཞི་བྱིན་རླབས་དང་ས་རྡོ་རྨང་འཇོག་གནང་། དེ་བཞིན་༸གོང་ས་༸མཆོག་སྐུ་ཚེ་ཞབས་པད་སྲིད་མཐར་བརྟན་པའི་སླད་ཕྱུགས་རིགས་ཚེ་ཐར་དང་། སློབ་ཕྲུག་གི་འཁོ་ཆས་སྦྱིན་གཏོང་གནང་བ་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་པར།།
H.E. Ling Rinpoche offered the first replica of the Ashokan Pillar in Waskaduwa, Sri Lanka to the people of Sri Lanka – dedicated to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on the auspicious occasion of His 90th Birthday.
This offering pays heartfelt tribute to His Holiness’s extraordinary life and his boundless contributions to the preservation and flourishing of the Buddha Dharma. It also carries profound prayers for the freedom and well-being of the Tibetan people.
The offering further expresses deep gratitude for the generous and historic gesture of the Sri Lankan people, who offered the sacred Buddha’s bone relics to His Holiness the Dalai Lama in April 2024.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche in turn, was also honored with the rare title “Lokārthācārya Dharma Vibhūṣaṇa” – the First Mahayana Tibetan Buddhist Leader to Receive This Distinction.
The Sri Sambuddha Sasanodaya Sangha Sabhawa, a chapter of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya—one of Sri Lanka’s principal Buddhist monastic orders—conferred upon His Eminence Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche the rare and distinguished honorary title “Lokārthācārya Dharma Vibhūṣaṇa,” meaning “Adornment of the Dharma, Teacher of Global Welfare.”
This prestigious honor is bestowed in recognition of His Rinpoche’s exceptional contributions to the welfare of humanity and the promotion of the Buddha’s teachings. The title has been awarded only twice before—to the most senior monks of Thailand and Myanmar—and now, for the first time, to a Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhist leader, acknowledging His Eminence’s far-reaching and compassionate efforts in spreading the Buddha Dharma throughout the world.
The unveiling ceremony of the commemorative plaque was graciously conducted by Rinpoche.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche was Chief Guest, gracing the enshrinement of the Sacred Buddha Bone Relics at the Semkay Ling Pali and Sanskrit Centre, from the Rajguru Subuthi Maha Viharaya Temple, Waskaduwa in Heiyanthuduwa, Sri Lanka.
On the same day, Rinpoche presided over the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Kundun Compassion Retreat, a new spiritual center dedicated to the teachings of compassion and wisdom inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, along with an animal liberation ceremony and book distribution to local school children.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche attended the first ever Norbulingka Festival, held to celebrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday, as the Chief Guest. The event also marked the 30th Founding Anniversary of the Norbulingka Institute.
The celebration was graced by the presence of the Supreme Justice Commissioner of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and other dignitaries. H.E. Ling Rinpoche delivered a speech on the occasion.
