H.E. Ling Rinpoche led and participated in an Interfaith Dialogue organized by the Tibetan Community of Portland, with a panel of esteemed representatives from the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Christian religions. Rinpoche elucidated the Four Commitments of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and emphasized the importance of cultivating compassion and Bodhicitta, especially at this time in the world.

On 5th June, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave the Buddha Amitayus initiation with teachings and advice to the Tibetan and Mongolian communities and others at Sakya Monastery of Tibet in Washington Seattle, organized by Tibetan Association of Washington. Rinpoche also visited and gave a talk at Microsoft on 4th June.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche led and joined a Vesak Day celebration in San Jose, California organized by the Vietnamese community, where he gave 2 days of teachings, a Shakyamuni Buddha initiation and participated in a procession to invite the Shakyamuni Buddha relic from Sri Lanka, along with representatives of different Buddhist traditions visiting from around the world and government officials from the local San Jose area.

On May 25 – 26th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave teachings on The Foundation of All Good Qualities and conferred the 1,000-Armed Chenrezig Initiation, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, jointly hosted by local FPMT centers: Land of Medicine Buddha, Ocean of Compassion Buddhist Center, Tse Chen Ling and Vajrapani Institute for Wisdom Culture.

On May 19th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the Tehor Norbulinka land in Minnesota where he gave a talk and blessed and consecrated the land, followed by a picnic and traditional dance performance by the local Tibetan community.

On May 18th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche bestowed the Buddha Amitayus initiation (Tsewang) and gave advice to thousands of Tibetan people in Minnesota, with a Tsog Offering and prayers on the occasion of Saka Dawa. In the morning, Rinpoche visited the Tibetan Saturday Culture School where he met with and gave a talk to the students and teachers. Visit organized by the Tibetan Foundation of Minnesota and Trehor Kyiduk Minnesota.

On May 15th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk for the Tibetan community’s Wisconsin Tibetan Association in Oregon, Wisconsin and blessed their community hall, where the children and community members offered a cultural performance for Rinpoche.
