On May 14th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk and advice with a Buddha Amitayus Long Life initiation (Tsewang) for the Tibetan community’s Tibetan Alliance of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois and enjoyed a cultural performance by the Tibetan students and children.

On May 11-12th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on The Three Principal Aspects of the Path and conferred the Buddha Amitayus Long Life Initiation at Deer Park Buddhist Center & Monastery in Madison, Wisconsin.

On May 8th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a teaching on The Foundation of All Good Qualities and bestowed the Medicine Buddha Initiation at Kadampa Center – FPMT in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on Jowo Atisha’s Bodhisattva’s Jewel Garland and bestowed the White Tara Long Life Initiation and its commentary in Fairfax, Virginia, hosted by the Mahayana Sutra and Tantra Center of Washington D.C., Guhyasamaja Center – FPMT and Partners for Tibetan Education.

On May 1st, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C. where he gave a talk and Q&A session on current issues in Tibet, and met with many important government and non-government representatives including Michael Shiffler – Assistant Administrator USAID, Alison Bartel – Special Advisor to US Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues, Tina Mufford – Acting Deputy, US Commission on International Religious Freedom, other Congressional Members, the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the President of ICT, organized by the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C.

On April 30th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche was warmly welcomed at the airport in Washington DC by the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and local hosts and organizers.
Then on May 1st, Rinpoche visited the Office of Tibet where he blessed the premises and met with the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama Namgyal Choedup and staff members.

On April 30th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche sends warmest greetings in celebration of Tibetan Calligraphy Day, to all Tibetans within and outside Tibet and across the Himalayan region.

On April 27-28th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on the 100 Deities of Tushita Heaven (Gaden Lhyagyama) and bestowed the 1,000-Armed Avalokiteshvara Initiation, at the Western Connecticut State University, hosted by Do Ngak Khuphen Ling located in Danbury, Connecticut.

On 23rd April, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk with Q&A on Compassion in Action: Addressing Discrimination Through the Lens of Buddhist Teachings, at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, hosted by Harvard Divinity School.
