On April 13 – 14th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche led a Long Life Prayer Service for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, gave teachings and commentary on Praise to Manjushri and bestowed the Buddha Amitayus Long Life initiation and Medicine Buddha initiation in New York City, hosted by The Tibetan Community of New York & New Jersey.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited Sri Lanka for the first time in 2022, where he met with Ven. Dr. Waskakuwe Mahindawamsa Nayaka Thero of the Raja Guru Shri Subuti Mahavihara Monastery, who expressed his intention to offer a precious Shakyamuni Buddha relic to His Holiness Dalai Lama and requested Rinpoche’s assistance to coordinate and support the event.
Rinpoche happily agreed to support this offering and after several years of planning, the offering of Lord Buddha’s sacred relics to His Holiness the Dalai Lama was successfully completed in Dharamsala on April 4th, 2024. His Holiness and Rinpoche met and conversed with the Sri Lankan delegation led by Venerable Doctor Waskaduwe Mahindawamsa Nayaka Thero.

On 4th April, the Most Ven. Dr. Waskakuwe Mahindawansa Mahanayake Thero of Sri Sambuddha Sasanodaya Sangha Sabha of Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikaya gifted His Holiness the Dalai Lama with a holy relic of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha, facilitated by H.E. Ling Rinpoche and expressed his fulfillment and gratitude for the successful and historic event.

On 3rd April, H.E. Ling Rinpoche led a Long Life Prayer offered to His Holiness the Dalai Lama by the Toepa Association and Purang people, at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamsala, HP.
