On September 19th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the Office of Tibet in London and later gave a public teaching on the Daily Practice of the Four Noble Truths with a Q&A session, organized by the Office of Tibet-London and Tibet House Trust. The event was attended by an enthusiastic audience including members of the local Tibetan community, representatives of local Buddhist centers and members of the public. Participants included a group from the Waltham Forrest Faith Communities forum, with people from various religious faith backgrounds working together to promote interfaith dialogue and harmony.

On September 17th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche arrived to a joyful welcome at London’s Heathrow Airport where he was greeted by representatives of the Office of Tibet, the President of the Tibetan Community in London, hosts and organizers from Rigpa London and Jamyang Buddhist Centre – FPMT, and local students and devotees. Rinpoche was then warmly received at Rigpa London.

On September 7th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche presided over and gave a talk as the Chief Guest, alongside Honorable Pema Khandu, Chief Minister, Assembly members of India, members of the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, honorable members of the Central Tibetan Administration, and many distinguished guests, to celebrate the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama according to the Tibetan Lunar Calendar, as well as the 65th anniversary of His Holiness’ first teaching given in exile in Mon Tawang. The program was organized by the Monpa community at Theckchen Choeling, Dharamsala.

On September 5th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche received an audience with Honorable Shri Pema Khandu, the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and his family, at Rinpoche’s residence in Dharamsala. They spent more than three hours together, discussing various subjects, and later enjoyed dinner together. It was a wonderful time for all.

On September 3 – 6th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche led preliminary prayers and rituals at His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s temple in Dharamsala in preparation for a Long Life Prayer Ceremony (Tenshug) to be offered to His Holiness the Dalai Lama by the Chief Minister and people of Mon, Arunachal Pradesh in India on September 7th.

On August 11th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited Zurich where he bestowed the Medicine Buddha initiation and the Praise to Manjushri (Gang Lo Ma) transmission, along with valuable advice about preserving culture and religion, for the local Tibetan communities and others.

On August 10th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche was invited to Rikon Monastery in Switzerland, which was built in 1968 and consecrated by H.H. the 6th Kyabjé Yongzin Ling Rinpoche and Kyabjé Trijang Rinpoche. Rinpoche was warmly welcomed by the Monastery’s Abbot, Board Members and Monks.
