On May 4th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited and blessed the Capital Area Tibetan Association’s Community Center in the Washington D.C. area and gave a talk with advice to the community members.

On May 1st, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C. where he gave a talk and Q&A session on current issues in Tibet, and met with many important government and non-government representatives including Michael Shiffler – Assistant Administrator USAID, Alison Bartel – Special Advisor to US Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues, Tina Mufford – Acting Deputy, US Commission on International Religious Freedom, other Congressional Members, the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the President of ICT, organized by the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington D.C.

On April 30th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche was warmly welcomed at the airport in Washington DC by the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and local hosts and organizers.
Then on May 1st, Rinpoche visited the Office of Tibet where he blessed the premises and met with the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama Namgyal Choedup and staff members.

On April 30th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche sends warmest greetings in celebration of Tibetan Calligraphy Day, to all Tibetans within and outside Tibet and across the Himalayan region.

On April 27-28th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave two days of teachings on the 100 Deities of Tushita Heaven (Gaden Lhyagyama) and bestowed the 1,000-Armed Avalokiteshvara Initiation, at the Western Connecticut State University, hosted by Do Ngak Khuphen Ling located in Danbury, Connecticut.

On 23rd April, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a talk with Q&A on Compassion in Action: Addressing Discrimination Through the Lens of Buddhist Teachings, at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, hosted by Harvard Divinity School.

On April 21 – 22nd, H.E. Ling Rinpoche arrived to a warm welcome ceremony and gave the Vajrasattva initiation and a two-day teaching on the 8 Verses of Thought Transformation with Oral Transmission at Kurukulla Center – FPMT in Boston, Massachusetts.

On 16th April, H.E. Ling Rinpoche taught on The Foundation of All Good Qualities and gave the Oral Transmission of Lama Tsongkhapa’s In Praise of Dependent Arising, in South Orange New Jersey, hosted by The Tibet Center.
