On December 15th, H.E. Ling Rinpoche’s Tutor Geshe Thubten Rapgay was enthroned as Lama Umze and Junior Abbott of Gyumed Tantric Monastic College, during an official ceremony at Drepung Loseling Pethub Khangsten in South India. Gen la was presented with an official letter of appointment from His Holiness the Dalai Lama by a representative from Gyumed Monastery. The event was attended by Drepung Loseling Monastery’s Abbott, Bakula Rinpoche and heads of the monastery, along with many monks and representatives from other monasteries and khangstens.
༈ ལ་དྭགས་ལོ་གསར་ལ་འཛམ་གླིང་ས་ཕྱོགས་གང་སར་བཞུགས་པའི་མི་མང་ལྷན་རྒྱས་ལ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ཞུ་བ་དང་ཆབས་ཅིག་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་སྐུ་གཟུགས་གསལ་ཐང་དང་ནད་མེད་ཚེ་རིང་ཆོས་མཐུན་གྱི་བསམ་པ་ཡིད་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པའི་སྨོན་འདུན་ཞུ།

I would like to offer my warmest wishes and congratulations to my esteemed precious teacher Geshe Thubten Rapgay from Drepung Loseling Pethub Khangsten, who has been honored with an appointment by His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama to the position of Lama Umze and Junior Abbott of Gyumed Tantric Monastic College.

November 2023
On 19th November,H.E. Ling Rinpoche concluded his inaugural visit to Vietnam in Hanoi, the nation's capital, after he gave two days of teachings and enjoyed a wonderful 38th birthday celebration hosted by devotees. Rinpoche also visited the Monastery’s translation center and gave a talk to translators of various languages.

On 18th and 19th November, H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave 2 days of teachings at Phap Van Pagoda in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Yongzin Lingtsang Labrang extends its heartfelt wishes to H.E. Ling Rinpoche for a very Happy Birthday! May Rinpoche have excellent health and a very long life! We wish for much auspiciousness in the upcoming year, with all of Rinpoche’s holy wishes quickly and perfectly fulfilled so he may continue to spread the Dharma throughout the world, for the benefit of all sentient beings.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche's visit to Vietnam continues where Rinpoche was offered a joyful birthday celebration by devotees in Hanoi.
On 12 - 13th November, H.E. Ling Rinpoche visited Hanoi, Vietnam where he gave teachings on Introduction to Buddhism at two monasteries - Hoa Phuc Monastery and Phu Coc Temple.
