H.E. Ling Rinpoche gave a teaching on The Three Principal Aspects of the Path and bestowed the White Tara Long Life (Tsewang) and Medicine Buddha Initiations at Vajrayana Institute-FPMT in Sydney over 2 days, concluding on August 4th.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche conferred the Buddha Amitayus Long Life Initiation today and delivered an insightful discourse on preserving Tibet’s rich cultural heritage. He also emphasized the importance of unity among Tibetans across the global diaspora.
The event was hosted by the Tibetan Community in Sydney, and was attended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s representative in Australia and members of the local community.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche is praying for the local catastrophe in South Australia. Since March 2025, a toxic algal bloom has blanketed over 4,400 km² of the state’s coastline, causing mass deaths across marine ecosystems.
At least 7,300 marine animals across 390 species have been documented dead, including sharks, rays, pipis, octopi, starfish, fish, and turtles.
It has been described by experts as “one of the worst marine disasters in living memory.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche was joyfully welcomed with traditional dances and performances at the Tibetan Buddhist Institute (Thechen Sherdrub Choeling) in Adelaide this evening, where Rinpoche led a Tsog offering on the auspicious occasion of Chokhor Duchen.
